We are honest and upfront with you every step of the way. As a result, we’ve put together the following to guide you through our custom design process.
Consultation: Every project begins with an in-person meeting to get acquainted. Ideally, this meeting takes place in your home, allowing us a first-hand look at your home and a glimpse of your personality, style and taste. This meeting is also where we discuss any design challenges your home presents.
Proposal: Next, we prepare a personalized bid for your window treatment project. But there’s more to our bids than just numbers. By scanning a photo of your room and fabric swatches into our design software, we also provide you with a computer-generated rendering of the final product. The costs quoted in our proposal include labor, fabric, hardware, embellishments and installation. We bill the design time separately.
Fabrication: Our workroom prides itself on providing the best quality window treatments available. They ensure that every detail, from the color to the fabric to the hardware, is flawless and meets or exceeds our high standards. To reach this level of satisfaction, it can take eight weeks or more to complete your order.
Installation: The most exciting aspect of your window treatment project is when all the elements come together and the product is installed in your home. Maren Hanebeck, Draped In Luxury’s owner, will personally attend every installation.
